I recently listened to a recording of the Zone webinar that presented the many plans for Rotary for the next three years. I was taken by three words that were mentioned more than a few times by the presenters.

Rotarians at work! A team from Grand Prairie Metro Rotary Club participated in the 14th Annual Soup's on for Love event to raise much-needed funds for LifeLine for Families, Inc., a local non-profit that works to reduce homelessness among families of school children in crisis who are enrolled in the Grand Prairie Independent School District.
During January and February, Prestonwood is working with two other organizations; The National Council of Jewish Women Dallas and The Dallas Founder Lions Club to collect rolling suitcases for Mosaic's Family Services. This project has met with great success and at our Happy Hour on the 5th Wednesday in January, we gathered at Anayla's Scratch Kitchen to add to our collection.
About once a month North Texas Pioneers Club enjoys loading boxes for LovePacs Plano. They have successfully served over 5,200 needy students in the Plano ISD during the 2023-2024 school year so far this year. It’s a service project which takes very little time and helps a lots of children in need!
Last month, a PolioPlus presentation captivated the members of Fairview Rotary Club, as documented in the attached photo. The presenter, who had taken the initiative, successfully rallied the small 18-member club, resulting in a remarkable fundraising achievement of $3,220 during that particular meeting.
Ronald McDonald House has been open to volunteers for a couple of years now following COVID. In 2024 they have changed their staff to include a chef to prepare the meals.
Mesquite Rotary Club president Jones Doughton presented a $7,500 donation check to the Mesquite ISD Education Foundation at their meeting on February 13th. Foundation executive director Randy Lewallyn accepted the check.http://www.mesquitefoundation.org
Now is the time to sign up for the Rotary International Convention being held in Singapore. The convention begins on May 24 thru 29. The price will go up in March 31st, 2024.
