I cannot believe the holidays are already here. I have greatly enjoyed our ½ year together with so many impactful service projects and club visits. As I travel, I am constantly amazed by our 60+ clubs’ contributions to communities in North Texas. Our monthly Roundtables also produce great results.

Camp RYLA participants reunited on Saturday, Nov. 23rd for an inspiring Day 7, with approximately 140 students and 45 alumni staff coming together to celebrate leadership, growth, and service. This year marked a meaningful milestone for the Rotary Club of Commerce as we hosted our first annual luncheon for the veterans of Hunt County. The event was filled with heartfelt gratitude, fellowship, and community spirit, honoring the men and women who have served our nation.
Coppell Rotarians and over 200 friends gathered at El Centro College to spread an abundance of Thanksgiving Joy to some amazing foster kids from across the DFW area. The group assembled boxes and gifts for deserving children.
The Melissa Rotary Club solicited the community for items to pack into comfort kits for our veterans at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, which provides first-class long-term care for up to 160 residents, including up to 32 Alzheimer's residents. The community responded and we were able to pack over 80 bags to take to the residents.
Members of White Rock Rotary helped label and arrange items at White Rock Center of Hope resale store. This great organization assists with donations of food, clothing, and rent/utility assistance in the White Rock Area.
It was a lovely day and a great time at the RCPC and City of University Park Tree Lighting. The event was in Centennial Park because of the construction in Snider Plaza.

On Tuesday, December 3, Duncanville Rotarians blessed the teachers lounges at three more Duncanville ISD schools. To date, the Club has updated 15 of the 19 teachers lounges in the district.
Rotarians, Linda, David, and Carlissa, were out and about this week supporting the Salvation Army’s Toy Shop. The donated 13 1/2 hours between 2 members. Way to put service in above self and illustrate we are people of action!
Members, families, and friends of the Grand Prairie Metro Rotary Club teamed up to help with the Grand Prairie Police Department’s Santa Cop program. Santa Cop provides toys for families in need in the Grand Prairie community during the holidays.
Rotarians and their families came out to support the annual Pints for Polio event hosted by the Preston Trails Rotary Club. This event is held every year, and this year, we were excited to feature the Rotary float as part of the celebration.
Rotary Club of McKinney, Rotary Club of McKinney Sunrise and Rotary Club of Collin County joined forces to partner with Collin College in supporting Carter BloodCare. A blood drive was held November 12-13, 2024 with 25 pints donated by Rotarians.
The Preston Trails Rotary Club is proud to support the Celina Education Foundation with a generous donation of $5,000. This contribution will directly benefit students pursuing higher education, helping to provide valuable scholarships for those attending college.
Members of the Grand Prairie Metro Rotary Club participated in a meal-packing event for Rise Against Hunger. Rise Against Hunger is a global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives, and responding to emergencies.
