Yuletide Greetings to all Rotarian, families and friends! Together, we can celebrate our time together and what we have accomplished as a District this Rotary year. We have done much. We have volunteered on many service projects with most clubs creating a project during my visitation.
Following the Grand Prairie Metro Rotary’s 37th Annual Pumpkin Run, the Club held a celebration to donate $32,000 from this year's run to deserving non-profits in Grand Prairie! Over 75 guests attended the event led by Immediate Past President Debbie Dobbs.

Recently, the Rockwall Rotary Club hosted a Monday Night Football party to support the club's community efforts towards student scholarships and our mission of polio eradication. While having a great time, attendees ensured the event was a huge success raising over $5300 in just a few hours!
Coppell Rotary knows how to have a great time while making a meaningful impact. During our latest social gathering, we came together and collected over 1,000 lbs of canned goods for Metrocrest Services - just in time to spread Thanksgiving joy!
The Addison Rotary Club and Addison Midday Rotary Club united together on Veteran's Day to host a pancake breakfast to honor and thank the men and women who served our nation and serve our community. 100% of proceeds raised from the breakfast support Santa's Heroes, a joint program of the Addison Fire and Police Departments, respectively, to ensure children of families facing financial hardships will have a gift under the tree.
Melissa Rotary Club and Melissa High School Interact Club have joined forces to serve the community, including Melissa's Fall Fest, Flag installations, and the Veterans' Day Ceremony. These service projects include helping with parking and booth set-up at the local Fall Fest sponsored by Krogers and supported by the local Chamber of Commerce, and Interact is sponsoring the Fall 2023 Food Drive benefitting the First Melissa Christmas Angel Program and the Melissa Community Outreach Food Pantry, which the Melissa Rotary Club also supports.
On November 10, the Addison Rotary Club presented the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas the net proceeds from the 33rd Addison Rotary Open - $188,000! The Addison Rotary Open, presented by Walker & Dunlop, is the signature fundraiser of the club.
Bethany Elementary 5th grader Kate Chudy uses a wheelchair. Kate was worried she wouldn’t be able to participate in the upcoming 5th grade camp because of the design of her wheelchair, which isn’t suitable for “off-roading” without a second person to help push.
The Mesquite Rotary Club presented a donation of $2,000 to the Mesquite Association of Retired School Employees book project at their meeting on November 28th. In accepting the check from Rotary president Jones Doughton, MARSE president Stephanie Wiley expressed her thanks for Rotary’s financial support and volunteer assistance.
Rockwall Rotary Club welcomed the Interact Club at Rockwall High School to their November 16 meeting to share updates club accomplishments and upcoming service projects. Rockwall High School teacher and club sponsor, Cheri Whitelock introduced the Senior officers:
The North Texas Pioneers Rotary Club’s service projects for November were raising money to help the veterans in our area. We had a dinner to honor Veterans Day and were honored to have sixteen veterans attend for dinner
Plano West Rotary Club has been supporting the city’s Adopt-a-Highway Project for 6 years this December. The project was initiated by Rotarian Glen Thornton in December 2017, and the first clean-up service project was January 2018. The club’s assigned stretch of roadside is Avenue K between Spring Creek Parkway and Parker Road.
