It has been a wonderful experience visiting each of our 63 clubs in the Distrct.Now that official visits have been completed, I will be concentrating on our District goals for the year. The Rowlett Rotary Club for partnering with the Parks and Recreation Department to show honor to our First Responders this weekend. They provided 18 American flags that are displayed along the sidewalk at Veterans Park to honor those who lost their lives 20 years ago on 9/11.

On September 10, 2021, members of The Rotary Club of Dallas gathered at the DFW National Cemetery to help clean the gravestones of military service personnel.
This year's Cotton Patch Challenge was one for the books! They had 801 registered riders (most ever) and made just over $50,000 for the club to give away to local nonprofits, scholarships and veteran support. Almost the entire club was involved and we had great community support as well.
On Friday, September 3rd, our Rotarians drove to Dallas’ North Central Police Station to surprise their Crime Response Team with a huge and healthy breakfast, as well as snacks for the day.
