DG Bill Slicker's May Message
I'm always amazed at the subject matter published in the Rotarian magazine every month. Rotary International is always highlighting people who make their community a better place and give examples we can follow.

On Saturday, May 11th, we will hold our annual District Conference & Awards luncheon at the Haggard Party Barn in Plano, TX from 8:30AM to 1:30PM. Wear your favorite Tommy Bahama outfit! Tickets are $25. To register: http://bit.ly/2Uoo6sF

We are privileged to have Tom Thorfinnson leading us as R.I.'s Presidential Aide. Tom is the Chief Strategy Officer at Rotary International. He will share with us some of R.I.'s upcoming major initiatives and how that effects our Rotary clubs. Tom will guide us as we create our own road map to Success.

Over our Texas BBQ lunch, we'll present our Awards to our Clubs. Alot of surprises are in store. We look forward to a wonderful time together!

THIS IS A GREAT DAY TO BE A ROTARIAN!

Addison Midday Rotary Club Supports Hope Supply

Again this year, the Addison Midday Rotary Club made 50 Easter Baskets for Hope Supply.  Hope Supply told us that they were about 200 Easter Baskets short of requested baskets.  This is a good project for a Rotary Club, group or individual.  We make the baskets for less than $10 each and we assemble them in 20 minutes.
