Earlier this year, district governors were notified that we were reviewing concerns raised by leaders in District 2232 (Ukraine) about the Rotary Club of Kyiv International’s use of disaster response grant funds intended to support people affected by the war.
In the heart of Mexico, the value of education and the hunger for knowledge continue to grow. Every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the opportunity to explore the world through the pages of a book. Thanks to the generosity of our Clubs, the students of our school in Mexico have been gifted the treasure of books and school supplies. Our goal is 26,000 books - see the results thus far:
Join us for a week of honor and remembrance! Plano Flags of Honor 2023, November 4-11 at the Red Tail Pavilion, Plano presented by Plano East Rotary in collaboration with the City of Plano! A field of over 1,000 3′ x 5′ American Flags will express our gratitude to our veterans and first responders.

Prestonwood Rotary Club welcomed members of DPD to the Prestonwood Country Club with a buffet lunch and a celebration of their annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
Runners young and old were up early on a crisp, sunny Saturday morning in October for the Grand Prairie Metro Rotary Club's 37th Annual Pumpkin Run. As a result, approximately $30,000 will be donated by the Club to non-profits that directly serve the Grand Prairie community.
Now is the time to sign up for the Rotary International Convention being held in Singapore. The convention begins on May 24 thru 29. The price will go up in December.
On October 14, 2023, the Addison Midday Rotary Club held its 3rd Oktoberfest for members and guests of the club. Again, this year the event included beer, bratwurst, an accordion, and singing. A good time was had by all in attendance.

Members of White Rock Rotary, Dallas turned out for PINTS FOR POLIO fundraiser in Lake Highlands at Vector Brewing on October 25. Walt McCool, Hilred Azan, Helen Stettler (and spouse) and Enid Jones joined fellow Rotarians from the District in an evening of conviviality.
On October 16, the Rockwall Rotary Club held a special Monday Night Football event to raise money for local student scholarships, one of our designated philanthropic causes.
