News Around The District
The Lone Star division of Rotary leadership institute announced that they would have a series of virtual training sessions. Below is the schedule.  Part one is excellent for new Rotarians. I recommend you consider paying to send them two-part one. Parts two and three are great for leadership development of your emerging leaders. The cost is $50. This is a great investment in your club future!
This fourth round of Cookies for Cops was delivered to the southwest substation of the Dallas Police Department. This delivery was special as some of the officers who died in a tragic ambush on July 7, 2016, were from this substation and this project was one week after the 6th anniversary of that horrible event. Incidentally, The Rotary Club of Dallas marks July 7 every year by sponsoring the lighting up of the Dallas skyline in blue lights.
