This interactive seminar will inspire students and adults alike to want to work actively toward peace in the world and in their own communities.  Keynote speaker is Jeff Whitfield.

Rotary District 5810 PEACE SYMPOSIUM at SMU's Legacy Campus on February 1st is fast approaching.

  1. If you have not already sent a list of the students your club is sponsoring, please send the list to Vicki Rowe immediately at vickirowe45@yahoo.com no later than January 27th. Also we need to know how many adults from your club will be attending. It is absolutely necessary to know the number of attendees so that we can order the proper number of box lunches and to be able to assign students to breakout sessions. If you do not have the names of the students themselves please at least give us the total number of students and adults you expect to attend.  If you have already sent in your list, then THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
  2. SMU’s Legacy campus is located at 5228 Tennyson Parkway, Plano (MAPSCO page 556 S). The giant, trailer-mounted Rotary emblem will be near the entrance on the southside of the Parkway.
  3. Registration will take place from 8:30 to 9:15 am and the formal program will begin at 9:30.
  4. The symposium will conclude at 2:45 pm. All students must be picked up or leave the campus no later than 3:30 pm.

GOOD NEWS!! We are still short of our 300 person maximum. Because we have received ample contributions to cover expenses you may register additional students at NO ADDITIONAL cost on a first come basis until the 300 person capacity is reached provided that names are sent to Vicki on or before January 27th.
