Happy 100th Birthday, C. C.! It was a wonderful evening honoring a distinguished and very special member, PDG C.C. Collie! RCPC members, his family, and other special guests assembled at Lakewood Country Club on December 15 for this Holiday and Birthday Party.

The evening included dinner with C. C.’s favorite desert – with candles – and a champagne toast. Following dinner, member Jeff Brady conducted a conversation over the events and accomplishments of C. C.’s life. C. C. received his Navy Surface Warfare Badge, which he had never received following his service in the Navy during World War !!. RCPC also recognized C.C. with a scholarship for JROTC students at Hillcrest High School. C. C. had always said how important ROTC had been in his entry into the Navy as an officer. RI President Jennifer Jones sent a video message. In addition, he received letters, proclamations, and recognition from the following: President Joe Biden, former President George Bush, Governor Greg Abbot, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Michael Gilday, Congressman Colin Allred, State Representative Morgan Meyer, Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, Col. Matthew Almidon of the G.W.
