On January 26 the Addison Midday Rotary Club met with the Rotary Club of Wangen-Isny-Leutkirch (of Germany). The meeting was virtual via Zoom.
The 2021-2022 AMRC President, Ben Wolber, grew up in Leutkirch, Germany. He contacted his father in Leutkirch who put been in touch with members of the Wangen-Isny-Leutkirch Rotary Club. The Wangen-Isny-Leutkirch Rotary Club meets at 7:00 on Wednesdays. Addison Midday meets at noon on Tuesdays. For this meeting only, the Addison Midday Club moved their meeting to Wednesday, but started their meeting at the usual time since there is a 7-hour difference between Addison, Texas and Wangen-Isny-Leutkirch, Germany. The AMRC wanted to know more about the Club Trips taken by the Rotary Club of Wangen-Isny-Leutkirch and the Rotary Club of Wangen-Isny-Leutkirch wanted to know more about the Four Way Test. Both Clubs agreed it was a very enjoyable meeting.
