The 2020-21 CHS Interact Club achieved the Rotary International Presidential Citation.
This award recognizes student clubs that support Rotary International's action plan by completing activities to increase impact, expand reach, enhance participant engagement, and increase Rotary's ability to adapt. In order to earn this recognition, the club had to complete at least 11 of 20 specific goals set forth by Rotary International. Despite restrictions due to COVID, this club stayed engaged virtually with each other and our District, and led the charge in two service projects to help local and international families in need. The 21-22 Interact Club, led by Maruthi Eranki hosted a pizza party for students interested in joining and being part of over 15,000 clubs world-wide who work to make a difference in their communities.
