For the ninth year the Rotary Club of Park Cities members hosted Dentistry with a Heart to provide dental services to those who could not otherwise afford them. Led by RCPC members, dentist Dr. Michael Rainwater, and Past President Fred Brown, this year provided over $37,000 in dental services
at no charge to thirty-nine patients on October 26. Our Partners for identifying patients were the Salvation Army, Senior Source, All Nations Church and Bonton Farms.

The services were provided at Agape Clinic, a clinic in near East Dallas, offering medical services to the homeless and to those with very low incomes, and a strategic partner of RCPC. Volunteers from Texas A&M Dental School, Dallas County Dental Society and the Agape Clinic provided basic dental services, extractions, fillings, cleanings and a focus on dental education. Among the volunteer dental professionals were eight dentists, two oral surgery residents, three hygienists, three dental assistants, and five dental students.

Park Cities Rotarians assisted in professional or supportive roles. Participating were Ruth Alhilali, Phillip Bankhead, Stephanie Bohan, Fred Brown, Karen Farris, Happy Franklin, Jenifer Hammond, Barb Jeffries, Kathleen Klaviter, Rob Levy, Janie Loveless, Jina McDaniel, Paul McFarland, Michael Rainwater, Ley Waggoner and Patsy Watson.

It was a great way to spend a Saturday!
