Hi all - February was a busy month in Rotary - but, when is it NOT busy? As part of my club visit strategy this year, I decided to visit Interact and Rotaract Clubs too! Last week, I visited the Waxahachie High School Interact Club as well as the Global High School Interact Club! Those clubs do so many great projects!
DG Aide Ginger went with me and we started out the trip by attending the Waxahachie Rotary Club happy hour! It was great to see everyone again. The next day, Waxahachie Club Interact Sponsors Diane Etheridge & Nancy Clifford were great hostesses as we visited the clubs and did a little sightseeing too!

President Elect Training Seminar (PETS) was the finale of the month at the DFW Hyatt. We had over 600 people attending, including PEs and PNs from all over the states of TX and OK. DGE Mike Callahan and his team put on a great District 5810 event on Friday. My partner Jeff Johnston (PDG from D5830) and I had the honor of facilitating a combined class of PEs on Saturday covering topics such as Community & International Projects, Fundraising Strategies, Public Image and Leading Change. It was a great experience - I hope they ask us back!
March is going to be just as busy - instead of CLE, on March 21 we will be volunteering at the Challenge Air Fly Day at Executive Airport in Dallas. Remember - this is the charity that my mom chose for us to support this year. Please sign up and volunteer - you'll never forget this experience! Mom will be there with us in spirit! ❤️
ALSO - have fun Celebrating Women in Rotary this month! Ladies - have you submitted your picture yet?
See you out there on the Yellow Brick Road!! There's no place like Rotary!
YIR,
Mary
