Spring is here! As we enter April and some are thinking we are in the downhill slide of the Rotary year, I challenge you to instead think of it as the last lap in the mile race. You have completed 3/4ths and now is your time to finish the race strong. Don’t let your previous months of work slip away when you are on the last lap, and you are leading the pack.
Who won the membership drive this month? Last update was as of February 16, 2025 when we were at 2,436 members and as of March 29, 2025 we are up 9 to 2,445 members which is +40 for the year. The big Membership Drive winners for February were Sherman and Royse City which each grew by 2 net members and Sherman won the % category at 4.54% growth. Congrats!!! Remember the District goal is to end the year over 2,500. Will your club net 1 or more this year? That is the goal for all clubs. Keep inviting…. Club presidents and membership chairs don’t forget to turn in your visitor and new member excel form each month to Reyna Castillo by the 7th for your raffle tickets for our Membership Drive and Raffle. https://rotary5810.org/sitepage/membership-drive If you miss a month, you can still catch up. We are gathering hotel and restaurant gift certificates as prizes besides the Alaskan cruise on Princess for 2 oceanview in Summer, 2026.
Last month we introduced a new District-wide Shoe Collection Service Project. We will reach our goal of 2,000+ pairs if everyone just donates 1 pair. Contact me for a flyer or make your own to promote this at your club please.
