The Rotary Club of Dallas will have its “Feeding Children Everywhere” event at Scottish Rite Hospital on Saturday, February 29th from 10:00AM – Noon.
We’ll be assembling food packages that will go to the North Texas Food Bank and ultimately to the Food Pantries in DISD schools. Last year we assembled 27,000 meals that were distributed.
If you want to be part of this event, come join us. Your Club can also contribute to purchase additional items to make even more food packets. If you have a different organization you would like these to go to, we can make it happen. An assembly line measures and fills the packets with the various ingredients. These packets are then sealed and boxed. The packet can be open and placed in boiling water and will make a healthy meal for a family.
