Elizabeth Liser, Senior Donor Engagement Specialist, and Jeri Chambers, Donor Relations Officer, encouraged us to assess our own meaningful approach to personal charitable giving.
Club members identified their values and shared with one another how this might impact their selection in future philanthropic endeavors. Public Information Chair, Lori Villarreal felt, “Learning what mattered to our fellow members was really rewarding. There was a lot of heartfelt conversation including the memories of photos hanging on our parents walls to how the companionship of a pup changed lives.” With a few tools in front of them, members Gerry Washington and Gene Ryan work through the assessment.
