For the thirteenth year the Rotary Cub of Park Cities joined with the City of University Park to kick off the season with the Snider Plaza Tree Lighting and street party. An estimated 6,000 people attended to enjoy the fall weather, the music, the Fun Zone, and the food and beverages.  Even Santa attended
RCPC member Tania Boughton reported that the event could hardly have been better. While free to attend, proceeds from the event yielded checks for $5,000 each to the Salvation Army and to the North Texas Food Bank, thanks to our sponsors and individual donations.

RCPC members handed out popcorn and water at the Rotary Club of Park Cities tent.  They also greeted attendees, worked in The Fun Zone and in The Beverage Garden.  It was truly a coordinated effort to make this event the best yet.
