To host a Rotary Club Blood Drive is a great and easy way to do some good and to introduce new people to Rotary. What a great community service, and to help add new members to any Rotary club.
In the past we have had what is called, “The Governors’ Challenge” and this year our District Governor, John Moser, ask me the local Vampire to make a challenge to the District governor in the district to our west. I did and the race in “ON”. The week of July 6, 2020, the Rotary Clubs of Plano, Texas hosted an 8 day Community Blood Drive with 13 locations and obtained 267 units of blood to add to our local blood banks. What a great way to kick off this Governors’ Challenge - look out Ft. Worth, DG, John is after your blood.
