After several months of planning and implementation the outdoor recreation area at the Salvation Army‘s Adult Rehabilitation Canter is complete.
It has a basketball court, a pickleball court, and cornhole boards. The existing structures have been painted and new landscaping has been planted. To celebrate, the Salvation Army invited RCPC members to lunch and a ribbon cutting.

To make the event even more special the Recreation area has been dedicated as the Lt. Col. Orville C. Salmon Leisure Time Activities Center. He is being honored for his sixty years of service to the Salvation Army, a lifetime of mentoring and benevolence, and as living the life of a truly great man. Even after retirement Orv continues to serve the Salvation Army as a liaison. Also, Orv has been a valued member of the Rotary Club of Park Cities since July, 1992.  This honor is richly deserved! He exemplifies "service above self."
