Investing in young leaders is one of Rotary's greatest opportunities to shape the future, and the Royse City Rotary Club is proud to be part of that mission.

This year, the club sponsored six local students to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), an immersive leadership development camp that empowers high school students through teamwork, communication, service, and personal growth.

During a recent club meeting, four of the RYLA participants returned to share their experiences with members. They spoke about stepping outside their comfort zones, building lasting friendships, discovering new leadership skills, and gaining confidence in themselves. Their stories reflected the life-changing impact of the program and the value of investing in the next generation of community leaders.

Hearing firsthand how RYLA inspired these students was a powerful reminder of Rotary's commitment to developing young leaders. By sponsoring students to attend RYLA each year, the Royse City Rotary Club is helping equip tomorrow's leaders with the skills, confidence, and passion to make a difference in their schools, communities, and beyond.

The Royse City Rotary Club looks forward to continuing its support of RYLA and celebrating the achievements of these outstanding young leaders for years to come.
