One of RYLA 5810's great programs is Day 7. This year's event was held on November 23rd (as usual, the Saturday before Thanksgiving) at RL Turner High School for 140 students and 55 alumni staff helping out.
This was a free event for all 2019 campers, and they had a blast at their (much belated) seventh day of camp. Campers were able to catch up with their cabin mates, check back in on their growth since camp, and work on new ideas and topics for their senior year and beyond.

Breakout sessions included conversations about personal financial literacy, community service and event planning, stress management, professional and collegiate readiness tools, and a college/career panel. Students also had the opportunity to attend a completely RYLA-run college fair, and at the end of the day, parents from this year’s students, attended a reception where they were able to gain both personal connections and first-hand information regarding Rotary and RYLA programming, as well as watch their students in action.

We've said it before and we'll say it again--there's no program in the world like District 5810's Camp RYLA, and there's no way the work would get done without your support. Exciting news--we're ready to announce this year's camp dates! Get ready for July 26 – July 31, 2020, we're going to have the best year yet!
