The 15th Annual Salute to America’s Veterans was held on November 6th at the Frontiers of Flight Museum.    The keynote speaker was Admiral Patrick Walsh, USN, Retired, last serving as the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet.
This event benefits the USO DFW and the George W. Bush Institute's Military Service Initiative. This outstanding program honors the contributions of veterans across the generations for maintaining our freedom and liberty, and raises much needed financial assistance for these two organizations that transform the lives of our active military, our veterans and their families.

There were over 400 attendees that included 176 veterans.  Everyone had a great time.  The USO Show Troup was there and gave an amazing performance.   It’s estimated that we were able to raise close to $50K to benefit the USO and George W. Bush Institute’s Military Initiative.
One of our members, Joseph Turecky, flew C-47’s during WWII and part of the drop of the 101st Airborne D-Day.   We’re losing our WWII veterans at an alarming rate.

To all Veterans, thank you for your service. God bless.
