It is with great appreciation to Rotary District 5810 and Dallas Rotary Club for such a huge impact on 70,531 lives with three projects in Ghana.  Here's the summaries of the projects:

GRANT 18-72693 SUMMARY OF WATER PROJECT ACHIEVEMENT:  Our project impacted 22,274 people in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.  We EXCEEDED the goals of our grant. Rotary drilled twenty-one new boreholes providing 12,534 people with clean drinking water.  The budget was $175,700.  Three more existing boreholes were repaired and improved into a small-town water system with micro-credit loans.  We built 288 Microflush toilets and bought books for three school libraries.  We provided 502 loans for farms, small businesses and group loans focused on empowering women businesses.    $99,890 in microcredit loans funded eight of the new boreholes, repaired two boreholes and mechanized one existing borehole.  The loans provided for new household Microflush toilets, farm loans, business loans and group loans.  The loan money was loaned out six times so far.
 
GRANT 19-90400 SUMMARY OF WATER PROJECT ACHIEVEMENT:  
Our grant 19-90400 changed the lives of 22,957 people in Ghana.  We drilled 21 new wells, built two small town water systems, built 206 new household Microflush toilets, 31 Microflush toilets and made over 207 micro-credit loans in the first two rounds.  The budget was $182,487.  The micro-credit loan budget in the grant was $100,124 which provided for five rounds of loans in the communities.  The project was in the Kumasi Metropolitan, Bekwai, Antwima Kwanwoma, Tafo-Pankrono and Adansi North Districts of the Ashanti Region.
 

GRANT 20-11510 SUMMARY OF ACHIEVEMENT:
Rotary Global Grant 20-11510 drilled 19 new boreholes in Ghana.  We built 62 household microflush toilets.  We also gave out 80 micro-credit loans for boreholes, Microflush toilets, farm and small business loans over two rounds of loans.. We impacted the lives of over 25,300 people in 21 communities in Obuasi Municipal, Obuasi East and Akrofuom Districts in Ghana. The impacted region is Ashanti.  Fifteen of the new boreholes will have electrical pumps and the remaining being hand pumps.  We have trained over 100 people on how to manage their community water systems in their WATSAN Committees.  We empowered community leaders to solve their own problems. The total budget was $131,922.  The micro-credit loan budget was $20,000 and will be used over two rounds of loans.
