The Prosper Rotary’s November 11th, 2021 Veterans Day event was a huge success.
The seventy-plus attendees, of which over fifteen were U.S. veterans, were treated to an opening serenade by an all-star choir from Prosper’s Rock Hill High School. A medley of songs honoring each of our U.S. Armed Forces branches honored the veterans present.

Our key-note speaker, U.S. Congressman and veteran, Van Taylor spoke delivered an interesting and entertaining message.  Secondary speaker Irwin (Cap) Perry, a longtime Prosper resident, U.S. Veteran, and early endorser of the Prosper Veterans memorial project delivered a great message too. Finally, David Huck of the Prosper Rotary made a public announcement that the Prosper Rotary was formally assuming responsibility for the Prosper Veterans Memorial project.
