The Victorian Fencing Society began in 2011 to promote the research, training and demonstration of historical swordplay from the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century. The VFS has performed exhibitions at the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Public Library, Shakespeare in the Park, Dallas Farmers Branch Historical Park, Dickens on the Strand in Galveston, Texas Scottish Festival in Decatur, and many other events.  The Fencing Institute of Texas is one of the largest fencing facilities and clubs in North Texas. Learn more about the Victorian Fencing Society at https://www.victorianfencingsociety.com/ and the Fencing Institute of Texas at https://fenceintexas.org/
