Members of White Rock Rotary Club, Dallas, had the great opportunity to play host to and share breakfast to our New District Governor, Mick Callahan. He was accompanied by Michelle Goldstein, Rotary Club Dallas, Uptown, our new Assistant Governor.
Members of our Club were urged to “Do Better than your best” especially in areas such as membership, service, and projects in general. It is important to note that increasing membership is not the only goal, rather it is ensuring that members are intrigued and inspired by our club’s goals and activities to join and stay involved. If each club enrolls two new members in the year it is possible to increase membership by 100 percent in the district.
We were reminded of Rotary International mission – ‘Service above Self’ which is reflected in the Governor’s sponsored project, Senior Source of Dallas.
We hope both Governors will join us for breakfast again sometime soon.
