Coffee, water, tea plus snacks and lunch will be provided both days. If you require a specialty diet, please plan to bring foods that meet those dietary requirements.
ASIST is offered at no cost to you thanks to the collaboration of the Suicide Prevention and Brain Health (SPBH) Rotary eClub, North Texas Behavioral Health Authority, Military Veteran Peer Network, Matthew Weddle family and Sharing Life.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Participants do not need any formal training to attend the workshop.
