I can’t believe we are down to the last month of the 2024-2025 Rotary year. I hope each of you are helping your club finish the year strong with positive membership growth for the year and lots of amazing projects completed.
Membership and Raffle: The District is up 63 with 2,450 members as of 5/31/25. We are well on our way to our goal of 100 net new members impacting our communities! The following clubs have experienced net growth since July 1, 2024: Collin College Rotaract, Plano Community Rotaract, Grayson College Rotaract, Addison, Allen, Carrollton-Farmers Branch, Coppell*, Dallas, Dallas-Uptown, DeSoto, Duncanville, E-Club of North Texas*, Ennis, Fairview, Farmers Branch, Farmersville, Grand Prairie Metro, Greenville*, Greenville Daybreak, Hurricane Creek, Irving Las Colinas, McKinney, Melissa*, Midlothian*, North Texas Pioneers, Park Cities, Plano*, Plano West, Preston Trail, Prestonwood, Rockwall Breakfast, Rowlett*, Royse City*, Sherman*, and White Rock. (Top 9 clubs are 20%+ growth and are marked with an *.) Way to go! There is one month left. Some clubs drop members in June. Will your club net 1 or more this year?? Please join the list of clubs which grew in 24-25!

Club presidents and membership chairs don’t forget to turn in your visitor and new member  form each month to Reyna Castillo by the 7th for your raffle tickets for our Membership Drive and Raffle.  https://rotary5810.org/sitepage/membership-drive  If you miss some months, you can still catch up. We are gathering hotel and restaurant gift certificates as prizes besides the Alaskan cruise on Princess for 2 oceanview in Summer, 2026. But July 7th is the deadline to turn in all sheets for guests and new members between September 1st-June 30th to Reyna at reynarotary@gmail.com to earn your raffle tickets.

Foundation—Please make sure all of your Foundation donations are turned in to Rotary International so your club and our District receives credit and the money flows back to the District and your clubs for future grants. Please mail all checks by June 15th to make sure they are received. Or sign up to pay by credit card at www.rotary.org  On top right of this page, click on the Donate box, then click on Annual Fund-SHARE, click on one time or recurring donation and select the frequency and amount. Annual Foundation giving is down a bit right now, but I know we can finish strong! Please help us. Remember money donated is not just “to the Foundation”. Your money is “donated through the Foundation”, and it provides the funding for Global and District matching grants.

There is one last thing I need your help with. Each club has completed amazing work this year, and now is the time to be honored for your work. Awards Submissions are due July 7 including each club is to submit one name for the Star Award. (This is a guaranteed winner.) Who was the Star Rotarian of your club this year? See https://www.rotary5810.org/page/district-awards for details and links to the award forms. Contact Diana Kolb-Torres, Awards Chair  mdakolb@gmail.com or 214-213-0882 with questions. The Awards Banquet will be September 4th which is when the Membership raffle prizes will be awarded also.

Thank you so much for all of your great efforts this year.  You are my constant inspiration. I am so very proud and honored to serve this great District.
